investing resources:

  • The Stock Series by JL Collins.

    • This is truly a series and will take weeks.

    • I recommend breaking this down and taking each one step at a time.

  • Afford Anything Podcast by Paula Pant

    • She is a masterful interviewer, she has curated and refined her abilities as a podcaster.  I recommend starting with her more recent content, as her earlier work pales in terms of audio quality.

  • Much more coming soon…..

For those interested in learning about early retirement or financial independence

  • There is a film releasing in the next few months about the FI/RE (Financial Independence/Retire Early) movement. It is called Playing with FIRE and you can see the trailer here: Playing with FIRE.

  • ChooseFI Podcast: I recommend starting with Episode 100 and if you like it then go back to the beginning.

    • This is one of my very favorite podcasts, and I will be coming on this podcast in the coming months….stay tuned!

  • I could not get this dot to disappear so I wrote these words here :) but will be adding more content soon. If you are reading this you have close attention to detail, I can tell we will get along just great.

  • Much more coming soon

COST rEDUCTION ideas/links

I only recommend things that I personally have used or currently use and believe to be an excellent value.

  • Farmer’s Markets/CSA’s/Imperfect Produce: Making it easier to eat healthfully, we have found to be a great investment. We love finding local CSA’s (community supported agriculture) and Farmer’s markets. There are many upsides to this but sometimes these are seasonal. Another option we like is Imperfect Produce which delivers produce direct to your door that is nicely edible, but in some way imperfect. There is a delivery fee but we find the time it saves and the food waste saved to be worth it for our family. If you would like to try, and use our link there is $10 off for you and for me (affiliate link supports this site). Please let me know what you think.
